Steve works with Aurora's health care services investments evaluating new investment opportunities and performing due diligence. He joined the Aurora team in January 2007 as a Duke Venture Fellow, an extended venture capital program for MBA students from the The Fuqua School of Business at Duke University. Prior to business school, Steve worked in investment banking for SunTrust Bank, RBC Capital Markets, and KCA Capital. During this time, Steve executed a broad range of transactions including growth capital investments, leveraged buyouts, recapitalizations, private placements, initial public offerings, follow-on equity offerings, and debt offerings.

Steve holds a Bachelor of Arts in Economics from Vanderbilt University, where he also played football.
