BIRMINGHAM, AL - (June 30, 2004) - Emageon, a leading provider of intelligent visual medical systems, announced today the election of two new directors, Fred Goad and Mylle Mangum, to its board and the addition of Craig Parker as general counsel.  

Fred Goad is a founding partner in Voyent Partners, LLC, a venture capital firm in Nashville, Tennessee.  He was formerly chairman and co-CEO of ENVOY Corporation and has also held management positions with CompuCard International, Olivetti USA and IBM.  He serves on the boards of directors of Performance Food Group, Ingram Entertainment and the Nashville Healthcare Council.  Mr. Goad is a graduate of the University of Virginia.

Mylle Mangum is CEO of International Banking Technologies, a provider of retail branch banking solutions in Atlanta, Georgia.  She was formerly CEO of MMS Incentives, president of Carlson Wagonlit Travel and has also held management positions with Holiday Inn Worldwide, BellSouth Corporation and General Electric.  She serves on the boards of directors of Scientific Atlanta, Payless ShoeSource, Haverty Furniture Company, The Barnes Group, The Carter Center and is a trustee of Piedmont College and the Boys & Girls Clubs of America.  Ms. Mangum is a graduate of Emory University and studied at the London School of Economics.

Craig Parker is Emageon's newly hired general counsel.  Mr. Parker comes to Emageon from EnteGreat, Inc., a systems integration and consulting firm headquartered in Birmingham, Alabama, where he served as CFO and general counsel.  Prior to joining EnteGreat, Mr. Parker practiced law with several leading law firms, including Fried, Frank, Harris, Shriver & Jacobson in London, England and Washington, DC, King & Spalding in Atlanta and Balch & Bingham in Birmingham.  Prior to law school, Mr. Parker earned his CPA credentials during a career with Arthur Andersen.  Mr. Parker has a B.S. in Business Administration from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and earned his J.D. summa cum laude from the University of Alabama.
