Emageon Named National Distributor of TraumaCad Orthopedic Planning and Templating Solution
Emageon selects leading orthopedic planning software for its Enterprise Visual Medical System
BIRMINGHAM, AL – (November 28, 2005) – Emageon Inc. (NASDAQ: EMAG), a leading provider of enterprise visual medical systems to hospitals and healthcare networks, announced today that it has entered into an agreement with Orthocrat Ltd. to distribute TraumaCad, Orthocrat's market leading orthopedic surgical planning applications. This agreement allows Emageon to further extend its enterprise vision by offering additional leading edge tools to orthopedic specialists in its customer base of more than 600 hospitals.
Distinguished by its standards-based architecture and installed in over 160 sites worldwide, TraumaCad is a thin-client DICOM application that integrates with a PACS and network architecture, while delivering a consistent orthopedic work environment over a web-enabled workstation.
